HISTORY OF THE PRACTICE The practice goes back to the turn of the century when Dr Murray was practising at Murray House near the traffic lights in Staple Hill. In 1933 Dr Stewart started a branch surgery in Cleeve Hill. Over the years the two surgeries at Murray House and Cleeve Hill grew and covered for each other. In 1974 they amalgamated formally at the surgery in 24 Cleeve Hill. New purpose-built premises opened in Coronation Road in 1986. The new building featured a treatment room and much more space for patients and staff. Computers soon followed! There have been major alterations to the surgery in recent years which make it a more pleasant place to visit and work in. Doctors who have practised with the practice:

and drugs from this group.
